You Can Give a Student a Life-Changing Experience
Sunday, October 5th, 2008The number of young people from our congregation who have gone on to be ministers, seminarians, youth workers, church musicians, bulletin editors or deeply-involved leaders is astonishing. Almost all of them will tell you of a retreat experience that shaped their faith and the direction of their lives.
The fall retreats at Laurelville and Jumonville are coming up. The cost of these retreats will average about $130 per student. Unfortunately, some parents just cannot afford to send their children. The congregation’s Youth Ministry never wants to turn a kid away from a life changing experience.
